As the iBooks fly out the doors at the Apple Store, you may want to know what it comes with. First, Mac OS 9 isn’t on them, yet. It’s not likely that Apple is going to reinstall Mac OS on machines which already have a working version of Mac OS 8.6 on them, but future iBooks may have 9 installed.
Second, the AirPort hub still hasn’t received FCC clearance, and the late November approval date is probably optimistic, meaning that it may take yet longer. So the AirPort card and hub are still not shipping.
