iPod Life: Take an iPod Tour of Singapore Art Museum

As pointed out in our reader feedback yesterday, MacSingapore reports that iPod is being creatively employed in a test program at the Singapore Art Museum. Visitors can pick up an iPod to listen to tours of the museum and interpretive background on the exhibits. Bring your own iPod and you can download information. This suggests some interesting possibilities for new ways to use iPods — and that’s just the beginning. An exhibit at the Whitney Biennial here in New York this spring included artwork that could be downloaded wirelessly to a Palm, so that visitors could take home their very own tap-dance choreography game. BlueTooth and Airport/Rendevouz might create further possibilities for interactive learning (or working) experiences.
