Late Night Bulletin: Apple may release iPad mini with Retina display tomorrow

apple-store-down questionWith the release of the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and the iPad Air out of the way, people can focus on the next big thing; the new iPad mini. Many sources have been suggesting a November 21st release for the smaller tablet or a possible delay of another week to hit the stores on Black Friday, but now some info has come to light that may suggest that we will see our new little friend tomorrow morning. Yes, that’s right, TOMORROW MORNING! Earlier today, MacRumors posted an image of a tweet from user @puntomacrd which showed the date November 12, 2013 for the new iPad mini’s debut on Apple’s own service provider web portal. MacRumors also points out that new Apple products typically hit the online store around 5:30 AM. As of 8:30 PM PST, there is no change to the Apple Store web pages, and still tells visitors of the product page that the iPad mini with Retina display is “Coming later in November”. I expect most people eager to get their hands on the new tablet will be hitting the online store after midnight to see if the infamous “We’ll be back soon.” Post-it note makes an appearance. It’s suggested that the sneaky roll out may have something to do with low supplies of the device. Too bad Apple’s own web site doesn’t use push notifications to keep everyone updated. Personally, I’m torn as to whether to get the new iPad Air, or downsize my iPad 2 for the new iPad mini. What do you have to say about this? Are you a convert to the smaller form factor? Is it better to have the full size screen? How do you choose? Let us know in the comments.
