Leaked videos purport to show functioning iPhone 6 units, new 2,915 mAH battery

With only a day left before Apple’s much-anticipated media event, an assortment of leaked new videos show off the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 handset along with a new Passbook icon and a video of the 5.5-inch model’s jumbo 2,915 mAH battery.

The videos, released via French web site Nowhereelse.fr and Chinese web site Miaopai, bring new elements to life about the battery, HomeKit and Health functionalities, near-field communication payment system, the overall look of the device, assorted camera parts and the larger battery, which would provide almost double the capacity of the current 1,560 mAH battery found in the iPhone 5s.

Apple is expected to show off the “iPhone 6,” as well as the anticipated wearable “iWatch,” at a media event scheduled for tomorrow at the Flint Center in Cupertino, Calif. Apple will also be streaming the event, which kicks off at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern.

As always, stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
