I spoke with Apple support and there is presently no plans to add software coding to allow MacOSX to directly address the hardware CD/DVD player that comes with my 400mhz PowerBook G3. What’s the scoop? Am I always going to have to reboot into Mac OS9.2 to watch a movie?
