Mac OS 10.2.3 and Sprint Vision

If you look through your modem scripts folder, you might notice a new one if you ran the 10.2.3 update. I might be wrong, but i don’t remember downloading a Sprint PCS Vision script from anywhere, so it looks like it came with 10.2.3. Thanks Apple!

Settings:
User: (sprint vision username, can be read off of phone when connecting using WAP browser)
Password: (vision password)
phone number: #777

Be sure to turn off TCP header compression, and set the modem script to Sprint PCS Vision. If you don’t have one already, you’ll need a USB cable for your phone. Sprint took them off the market, but Sanyo Wireless is still selling them, and I think there are a couple other places too.

Its painful being away from college where there is 802.11b wireless everywhere on campus, but hooray for unlimited data with my US$45 voice plan!
