Mac OS 10.2.4 Bluetooth and Me

Sony Ericsson T68iIs everyone else as stoked as I am? Apparently not, seeing as how the chat rooms and message boards are full of slanderous comments about Apple and their propensity to astound us with cool technology and (sometimes, albeit, rarely) underwhelm us with overlooked complexities in the wake of Jaguar Pink.

In any case, I’m still stoked about my Mac’s ability to syncronize itself with my mobile phone. I’m even more stoked about 10.2.4’s ability to accomplish this task, in addition to its stellar “boot onto the worldwide interweb via Bluetooth over GPRS” functionality.

Since the PowerPage is the stomping ground of many compadres of mobile fun, it seems appropriate to host a discussion on the new update’s abilities and settings, as well as open the floor to reviews of T-Mobile’s GPRS network and, once again, the Sony Ericsson T68i Phone.

I, cannot seem to locate the appropriate settings to get the interweb flowing over GPRS into my Mac, but I’m sure some of you have.

Geez, I thought that the BT fever had cooled to a minor outbreak, then BANG! Two doozies in the Newswire on BT. Scott, first check out our T68i/GPRS tutorial although it is for T-Mobile, it should get you started. Then hop over to this thread about the development of a Mac app to control iTunes with a t68i via BT. -Ed
