On 13 April 2002 from 1:30 till 3:30pm CarolinaMUG, the Charlotte Region’s Macintosh User Group and Winthrop University of Rock Hill South Carolina will present the definitive introduction to Mac OS X in a Free X-Rated Seminar.

The program includes something for every skill level from novice to high level UNIX and Linux user. Sarah Woodberry of Corel Corporation will be on hand to demo Draw, Painter and other Mac OS X offering. Brian Harrison of Apple will be there too with the latest technologies from Apple.

In addition to our Mac OS X Made Easy introduction, we will have two technical presentations – the first on the command line and what you can do with it and the second on programming with Cocoa.

We have some great door prizes for those attending and more information about the seminar can be found on our Web site. Randy Singer, coauthor of the Macintosh Bible 4/5/6 has written an article for exclusively for CarolinaMUG that dispels many of the rumors and misconceptions people have about Mac OS X.
