It’s summer in the city, and that means Macworld New York, with the traditional Go2Mac Class Photo, and now, for the first time, an official Go2Mac outing.

All are invited to pose with their Apple portables Wednesday July 18th for the Go2Mac Class Photo. We’ll meet at 5pm at the Javits Center, exact meeting place TBA, and proceed to a picture on the Hudson River in front of the Intrepid aircraft carrier.

Afterwards, Go2Mac and GeekCulture.com will be offering a discount outing. Join us on a two hour Circle Line harbor lights cruise (details at http://www.circleline.com/harborlights.htm). The cruise offers music and beautiful sunset views of the Manhattan skyline — and a chance to hang out with fellow Mac geeks! Special price for Go2Mac readers: US$18 per person.

You must register with us to be included in our reservation and receive the discount. Register by e-mailing me.

Registration deadline will be 9 pm (Eastern) THIS WEDNESDAY (July 11) so that I can make the reservation.

The cruise will last from 7:00p to 9:00p. Circle Line asks that we be there 45 minutes early (6:15p) to board. Meet at Pier 83, next to the Javits Center at 42nd street and 12th avenue.

Can’t make it to New York? Remember to stay tuned to Go2Mac.com for the best live coverage and photos from the floor.

Are you a Mac vendor displaying products at Macworld? Be sure to drop me a line and set up an appointment so we include you in our news coverage.

See you next week in NY!
