Microsoft Announces Plans for Newton Spinoff

At this week’s Seybold Publishing Conference, Microsoft will announce plans to create a tablet computer much like Apple’s Newton. Microsoft hopes that the keyboardless portable will ride the wave of popularity ignited by 3Com’s PalmPilot.
