It’s interesting when a company updates the preview version of its application.

In short, it means they really hope you buy it once it’s officially released.

Microsoft has updated its preview version of Office 2016 for Mac as well as launched two companion apps for iOS, Office Delve and Office 365 Video.

The new versions allow Office 2016 for Mac users to use the Outlook application to propose new times for meetings to which they’ve been invited, and allows organizers to modify proposed meetings and send updates. The new version of Word has received macro recording, online template search and new proofing tools, Excel has been given new analysis tools and a “solver” feature and Powerpoint has received bug fixes and better support for VoiceOver …

The updates can be downloaded via the software update feature built into the Office 2016 for Mac applications. If you’ve tried the new versions and have any feedback to offer, please let us know in the comments.
