Finally, QuickTime 6 is here, and our friends at BIAS have updated the popular audio editing, processing, and mastering app Peak to 3.1 to support it. The upgrade, free to registered users, adds full QT6 support as well as AAC audio support and other feature enhancements and bug fixes. We plan to have a full review of Peak 3.1 with tips on how to integrate this application into your audio work within the month. Peak is fully OS 9 and OS X native. For those already using it, download either the plain-vanilla 3.1 update or a special G4-enhanced version, and if you’re not, BIAS has a trial version available.
