In case you can’t tell, I’m obsessed with Google. In response to our recent story on Google’s satellite maps, PowerPage reader Mike Scherer writes:

Google’s street maps may only cover the U.S. but the satellite photos cover the entire globe. From the North America intro screen click onto satellite images and then ZOOM OUT to visit other places around the world. Some examples:
Tierra Del Fuego?
– Isn’t the source of the Nile around here somewhere?
– My what beautiful fjords you have.
