Motorola V200 and PowerBooks

Just a quick note to let PowerBook users know that you can use the new Motorola V200 Communicator cell phone as a modem to dial up your local ISP or whatever you use ARA for. You need the USB data cable and a driver and modem script provided by Rob McKeever.

The USB driver was originally written for a Motorola P280 but works fine with the V200. You only get 14.4 speeds, but for e-mail and limited Web surfing, it’s acceptable. I’ve sent e-mail to Rob about writing a driver for the V200 and OSX versions.
