Mozilla.org, creators of the Firefox web browser, has just released version 220.127.116.11 of Thunderbird, its free e-mail client. The new program, an 19.2 megabyte download, sports the following fixes and new features:
– Security fixes: Compromise of SSL-protected communication.
Thunderbird 18.104.22.168 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later to run and is programmed as a Universal Binary, allowing for native speeds on both PowerPC and Intel-based hardware.
