My Life with the BlackBerry Cult

RIM Blackberry 7100tLast Thursday was the launch of the BlackBerry 7100t at T-Mobile USA. I have been using BlackBerry devices for the last two years now, and really appreciated the ability to get in touch with my colleagues in the office, but was generally unimpressed enough with them for personal use primarily because they wouldn’t work with my Macs. (And I am one of those paranoids that refuses to put his personal contacts and appointments on anything owned by The Company.)
Well those guys at PocketMac have fixed the problem of a BlackBerry not playing well with a Mac by cooking up a fantastic method of getting your BlackBerry to talk to your Mac and get things synced into iCal calendars, AddressBook and notes into Stickies. It also will put things into the appropriate parts of Entourage, which makes me really excited, though due to the household calendar sharing my partner and I have going on, it works best to just stick to iCal.
