Omniweb 4 release code 1, Omnigroup’s full-featured Web browser for OS X, was released last night. Launch time is faster than the previous versions (cf3) and rendering of Web pages is improved. The only down side is that the browser still does not work with sites that use Microsoft’s NTLM authentication. The demo is free, but they occasionally guilt you with a large “unlicensed” watermark that appears across pages. The licensed version costs US$29.95 per seat.
