NoBeige.com had a chance to try out Power Support’s new “Odd Switch Technology” on our in-house iMacs today. The parts, which come three in a box, are designed to deal with the hassle of using a paper clip to restart or interrupt your machine (dealing with the iMac’s “Odd Switch”). Each is a simple plastic device that fits around the reset and interrupt switches, giving you a convenient button. They come in colors, too.
Installation is simple and only took a few seconds – each switch has an adhesive strip on the back that holds it firmly in place. These pictures are from the Web site:

Our only concern came from a notice on the back of the package:
When opening the iMac (e.g. to install RAM), first remove the OST Switch. Replace the OST’s double-sided adhesive tape, if necessary, before re-attaching it.
This shouldn’t be a big deal, however, if you don’t open your machine a lot. You can obtain a package of these switches from MacImports.
