Yesterday we posted a story about an AsiaBizTech article (“Apple Places OEM Orders with Taiwan PC Makers“) confirming that Alpha Top Corp. in Taiwan will start manufacturing P1 in about 4 days.
In another interesting twist to the P1 story, Apple’s Senior Product Manager of PowerBooks, Greg Joswiak, is giving the PowerBook conference session (“[8] The PowerBook Supersession“) at Macworld Expo New York 1999. It looks like Apple may use the session to demonstrate the new PowerBooks.
