Apple Developing IP Over FireWire (Updated)

The PowerPage has learned about a project inside Apple that will allow you to communicate via TCP/IP over FireWire. IP over Firewire would conceptually allow you to have one less cable in your bag and opens the door for all kinds of cool connectivity and networking options. Imagine file sharing over a fast FireWire connection, it would be like Target Disk Mode without having to give up the use of one of the computers. Even better: imagine being able to play a network game with your neighbor on the plane over FireWire – cool!

Funny Apple Switcher Spoof

If you want to see a funny spoof of the Switcher ads, watch this weeks Dave Chapelle show on Comedy Central. It aired on Weds., but they replay it again on the weekend. It’s funny and kind of dirty. I’ll try to tape it and see if I can make a QT from it.
