According to previous reports here at Go2Mac Apple has had some problems delivering Rev. B TiBooks to European resellers on schedule. While I can’t shed any light on the plight of those who may still be waiting for a machine that was promised weeks ago, I can provide some details regarding the wait for my machine.
I read your article regarding the so called iPod killer. The PJB100 has been on the market for almost two years. I know because I got one of the first units. It comes with a lot of accessories and it provides a very good value for the money. The box is expensive but compared to the money you would have to spend on Flash cards etc. would make it definitely cheaper. Soon I’ll receive the iPod and then I would be able to make a real comparison.
After Apple presented the new 550 and 667 MHz TiBooks this fall I was one of the first people in Germany who received one of these nice new TiBooks. I am completely satisfied with it, like with all Apple products I ever purchased. But there is just this one annoying thing, which I dislike more and more: the fan.
