Pixar's The IncrediblesPixar’s latest animated feature film The Incredibles had a US$70 million opening weekend. Although I haven’t had a chance to see the movie yet, worth a look are the numerous trailers that you can download from the Pixar Web site.
Not to burst your Pixar bubble or anything but, Incredibles was rendered on Intel hardware according to MacSlash

The movie was awesome with the entire audience cheering and laughing out loud throughout. I also watched the entire credits hoping for some of the usual Pixar “hidden gems” which never appeared (in fact, the closing credits were quite lame compare to other Pixar films). When the Intel message appeared I, too, hung my head in shame.

You’d think that Steve Jobs would have enough G5 xServes at Pixar to make Virginia Tech jealous. Or is SJ trying to avoid charges of nepotism?
Update:
MacMinute is reporting that The Incredibles is pushing up Pixar’s stock.
In other Pixar news, the company has release the first trailer from its next animated feature film “Cars,” which likely will be the final Disney/Pixar computer-animated comedy according to USA Today.
