Last night on the computer technology show CNNdotCOM, Perri Peltz anchored the show with a PowerBook G3 (Wall Street) by her side.
CNNdotCOM features reports on the fast pace of technology and its increasing effects and influence on people’s lives. The program provides long-form segments offering viewers profiles and in-depth examinations of some of the prominent people, companies and key deals that are part of the new technology scene. CNNdotCOM features a variety of cutting-edge interstitials, including: “Tools,” a how-to segment that will instruct viewers on the technical process involved in everything from online banking to wiring a home; “NewsFile,” the latest news from the wired world and quotes from the people setting the trends of tomorrow; “Technofile,” a look at the newest gadgets; “Nothing But Net,” a global look at the latest and most interesting Web sites and “Nerd Word,” the latest technological buzzword and its meaning.
This week’s episode featured a program in Harlem, New York that empowers students with computer and internet technology. The segment was loaded with Mac shots. One student was editing video with a DV cam and an iMac DV Special Edition! If you love technology, this is one of the best shows out there.
