Below is a picture of three PowerBooks in the pilothouse of the Millennium 140 (pictured at right) during sea trials in Holland to break the speed record for the world fastest private yacht. Both designers of the project, Evan Marshall and Frank Mulder, are devout Apple users.
About the two images. the 17″ is mine. Both myself and the engineer on the project, Frank Mulder, are both ardent Mac fans. Most of the design work on the project, interior, exterior engineering, was done on Macs. The running picture is the yacht at 65 knots! She was presented last month at the Fort Lauderdale boat show and her name is “The World Is Not Enough,” the owner is the legendary yacht speed demon, John Staluppi.
