PowerPage Must Have Mac OS X Apps

This is a semi-regular perusal of what is on O’Grady’s hard drive:
Konfabulator – We have talked about it here before and still love it. Think widgets on your desktop. Gooey aqua widgets. My current favorite and highly recommended plug-ins:

Menu Meters – a set of CPU, memory, disk, and network monitoring tools for your Mac OS X menu bar.
Clutter – Album art for iTunes. Clutter places music CDs on your desktop. Each one looks like the real CD’s cover. Drag them anywhere — line them up neatly or put them in piles, it’s your choice. Double-clicking one tells iTunes to play that CD.
MacSoft’s Unreal Tournament 2003 Tech Demo 1.0 – The 131MB demo requires Mac OS 10.2.6 and uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology. The demo features 4 maps (2 DM, 1 CTF, 1 bombing run) and most of the weapons in the full version of the game.
UserLand Radio – What did you do on your summer vacation? Post the details or start your own Mac Rumor site – in minutes! Radio is an easy-to-use Weblog tool that runs on your Mac OS X desktop. Bonus: you don’t have to have a permanent Internet connection to update your BLOG, just do it on the train and upload it when you get home.
CandyBar – lets you customize the icons found in the toolbars of the Mac OS X Finder in addition to folders, clipping icons, locations and even the OS X Trash icon. If you are really into icons check out Icon Builder Pro an Adobe Photoshop filter from Icon Factory that makes creating icons a snap.
