The iPod Photo‘s video output port opens new doors for functionality – imagine giving your next presentation (with music) entirely from your iPod. It would work like this: simply convert your Keynote presentation to QuickTime and upload it to your iPod Photo. Then you can present it (with sound) as a slideshow from the iPod using the video-out port on dock.
But what about the iPod Photo as a laptop replacement? After loading your QuickTime presentation you can project it on a micro-projector. According to The TechnoFile:

One company has already developed a prototype projector roughly the size of a pocket camera and capable of projecting an image the size and brightness of a laptop screen. According to MIT?s Technology Review, Mitsubishi is working on a projector the length and width of a credit card. This means at any moment you could pull it out of your pocket, hook it to your PDA, and project a TV show on the wall in front of you to watch.

Presentation capabilities combined with a microphone input (like the Griffin iTalk) for capturing meeting notes make the iPod a potential PowerBook replacement – in limited situations.
Now there’s something I didn’t think I’d ever hear myself saying…
