Preview: Keyspan Digital Media Remote

NoBeige received their Keyspan Digital Media Remote today and have been playing around with it. The beta drivers installed without any problems, and they provide key mapping from the remote’s keys to your normal keyboard keys. They include several presets, such as one for controlling the QuickTime Player.

We can see this thing will be very useful if you use your computer as a stereo component to play back QuickTime movies, MP3s, and various streaming audio and video formats, or if you give presentations.

We will be posting a more detailed review after we’ve done some more rigorous channel surfing.
