RadioLoverBOX.jpg
Although the iPod is great, it’s kind of a pain to keep updated with new and fresh playlists. If you listed to your iPod on a daily basis there’s a good chance that your sick of all you playlists – like I am. Sure you can just suck it up and set it to shuffle, but that only lasts for a little while before boredom sets in.
That’s where RadioLover from BitCartel comes in. This US$15 Universal Binary application is like getting a new iPod, or least new content for it. RadioLover allows you to record Internet radio streams as individual MP3s (with the correct ID3 tags, no less). It’s great for time shifting your favorite radio shows too. Simply set RadioLover to record the show you like (say, NPR) and it will even wake your Mac up from sleep, so that you don’t have to.
If you’re getting tired of your music collection, grab yourself a copy of RadioLover and re-invigorate your iPod.
