It won’t be long before you can shop for Apple Store items via your Apple Watch.
Sources have stated that Apple is completing its work on a version of the Apple Store app for the new wearable device. The app has not been given a firm release date beyond “soon” and will be part of an application update for the iPhone and iPad.
Given that the Apple Watch lacks a keyboard, more complicated orders will need to take place on the iPhone or iPad app.
It’s also been stated that Apple will ask employees to push Apple Store app installations for the Apple Watch to customers this summer, when the Watch goes on sale in Apple’s own stores.
Until then, retail employees will be encouraged to show off the Apple Store app on demo Apple Watches.
