This could be nifty.
Apple is reportedly conducting internal testing to see if it can allow Siri to transcribe your voicemail messages into text, so that you can read them rather than having to listen to them.
The feature, if successful, will allow Siri to take your iCloud Voicemail messages as opposed to having them go to a standard digital audio recorder.
While iCloud Voicemail can relay information s to where you are and why you can’t pick up the phone, Siri could possible transcribe incoming voicemails as needed.
The service, if successful, could appear in iOS 10 and later versions of the operating system.
Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
