Shares of Apple closed sharply up on Monday (+7 1/16) as anylsts predict new harware announcements from Steve Jobs during his keynote address at MacWorld Tokyo. A Reuters report quotes Merrill Lnych anaylst Steve Fortuna advising investors that:
“Jobs is likely to make some sort of announcements around new products (refreshed PowerBook or some kind of new appliance-class device),” and “We think Jobs may even use the opportunity to add some meat to Apple’s Internet strategy.”
