Sony Ericsson Announces P910 and Fourth Profitable Quarter

Sony Ericsson P910 ReleasedSony Ericsson today announced the P910 smartphone, a Symbian OS v7.0-powered update to the popular P800/P900 phones. In addition to the 262K color screen and integrated keyboard the P910 features expanded memory (64MB, up from 16MB) and supports Sony’s Memory Stick Duo Pro up to 1GB.
To add to the good news, Sony Ericsson has posted their fourth quarterly profit in a row for fiscal Q2. (Photo courtesy Gizmodo).
I have to admit to coveting this phone after being a devout P800 user for so long. But what’s the deal with the keyboard? It looks a little small for my mitts. What about the whole “PDA is dead” thing? Do ‘smart’phones like the P910 drive another nail into the coffin of PDAs? Sound off in the comments below (no reg. req’d).
