Sprint, Verizon iPhone 4S units to allow for unlocked SIM cards
If you wanted an unlocked iPhone 4S, you’re in luck. Per Macworld, both Sprint and Verizon have confirmed that consumers will be able to have the GSM side of their iPhone 4S handsets unlocked.
