I find it hard to believe that they would realese such a silly phone. Motorola has the nice Razr which would have been a much better platform. And this phone is not even quad-band or UMTS. Ugh.
What happens when you crossbreed the great engineering of Motorola with the amazing user-interface designers of Apple? You get a ROKR. Now that’s scary!
Next time they need to leave the lawyers and marketers out of the design process. If it was an iPod with a built-in cell phone they would have sold millions.
Too bad Motorola couldn’t deliver a ‘quality mobile phone’ even if they tried – and as it stands, the rebranded old phone they relabeled as ROKR is the usual MotoCrap. Apple met their end of the deal, Motorola (not surprisingly) came up short.
Now, they pay the price.
