The Shoe is on the Other Foot: Sony Store in a Store


It looks like we won’t have Michael Dell to kick around as Copycat-In-Chief much longer. First there was the iBook plagarism, and now this – “Sony isolates new PC retail sales pitch” – Sony ‘thinks up’ the brilliant new strategy of creating a store within a store.

Of course, their concept is different, because they only isolate the models based on the Pentium 4. My guess is that it’s actually designed to isolate the hype-driven customers from the ones with more sense.
