Coincidence or truth? The Fall fashions at the Gap, Bloomies and even Swatch have cropped up in tangerine and blueberry shades this year. Would these colors have been as trendy without the release of Apple’s iBook? Or do these colors simply make the iBook a trendy accessory? Or is this a prelude to an Apple partnership with companies like Swatch? And notice the shades of PowerPage and NoBeige.com…is that part of the conspiracy??
You mentioned that the Gap and Apple both seem to be embracing blue and orange as the “hip” colors this fall. At the mall tonight (Tyson’s Corner Center near McLean, VA) the Gap was awash in blue and orange. More interestingly, though, the walls of the Swatch store were completely blue and orange! Remember the rumors of some kind of Apple-Swatch collaboration? Have they been talking?
