TiBook Repair Leads to Better AirPort Reception

I just sent my Rev. A TiBook into Apple for repair because a component on the motherboard was blown. They replaced the motherboard, and also replaced the top and bottom of the case.

One unexpected consequence of the repair is that my airport reception is now MUCH better. There are locations in my house where previously I either had no reception or one bar of reception. I’m sitting in that exact location now with four bars of reception.

I don’t know exactly what led to this improvement, but I’m very happy for it. Now if only they’d replaced my 500MHz processor with an 800MHz one, I’d be all set.

Has anyone else experienced this?
