Palm Treo 670 Runs Windows MobileThe kids over an Engadget have pictures and video of the rumored Treo 670 smartphone from Palm. I’ve been toying with getting a Treo 650 from Verizon for a while now, but had a heated argument with a fellow editor who swore that Windows Mobile actually syncs better with the Mac (via PocketMac or Missing Sync) than Palm does – a bold statement indeed. The other argument for the WinCE version (even though they don’t call it that anymore) is the amount of cool applications available for the WinMo platform compared to Palm.
As a Mac user would you sooner purchase a smartphone based on Palm OS or Windows Mobile 5.0? And if it’s because of your platform bias, just say so, ok?
Send me your comments and I’ll update this story with them.
