TUAW: In Let's Build Another

Apple Dashboard Widget Design ContestTUAW: In Let’s Build Another Dashboard Widget, Andrew Anderson delves a little deeper than he did last time into the intricacies of Widget development: “Even though no real development environment exists now, there are some tricks and techniques that can be used to make Dashboard widget development easier. Andrew Anderson explores some tricks and techniques and presents a widget that uses JavaScript’s XMLHttpRequest method to retrieve spelling suggestions from Google.”
With that I’d like to declare open the PowerPage Dashboard Widget contest. We’re looking for someone to create a Dashboard Widget that displays the PowerPage RSS feed in a clean design. Style points for incorporating the PowerPage’s style and color scheme. Send us with you submission before June 30, 2005 and we’ll announce a winner in early July. The winner gets a PowerPage prize pack (MacBible, Podium Coolpad, PowerPage T-Shirt, etc.), credit on the site and of course, bragging rights!
