UK Windows XP Publicity Materials also Feature PBs

Following your comments regarding the Pismo in the XP commercial, in the UK Microsoft paid for a 16-page guide to Windows XP to be distributed with every copy of the Daily Telegraph last Saturday (the largest circulation broadsheet newspaper in the UK).

Following your comments regarding the Pismo in the XP commercial, in the UK Microsoft paid for a 16-page guide to Windows XP to be distributed with every copy of the Daily Telegraph last Saturday (the largest circulation broadsheet newspaper in the UK).

The “Office – and classroom” feature shows two school children on the internet with the caption: “Office XP has a broad range, whether for use in business, such as accountancy, or in schools” ? unfortunately for MS, the picture clearly shows the children surfing the Internet using the Mac OS – in Microsoft’s own paid-for publicity material!

Does Microsoft not employ anyone to verify the material? Amazing amateurishness. Reminds me of the Windows XP Flash Demo that shows someone using it on a PowerPC.
