UPDATE: Griffin Technology has release iFill version 1.0.9 that fixes a problem with iTunes 6’s database format.
On Tuesday I covered a killer app for the iPod called iFill from Griffin Technology in my ZDNet Blog: The Apple Core.

It works like this: attach your iPod, enable “disk use” in iTunes and launch iFill. The software presents you with a nice graphical display of your iPod’s memory and allows you to reserve a certain amount for iFill. You then choose from thousands of Internet radio stations and click record (you can even fill your iPod quicker by selecting multiple stations to record at once.) As you sleep and re-charge your iPod you can also be topping it off with iFill.

Well, that is fine with me – I don’t have the money to upgrade my OSX (I’m running OSX 10.3.9), and you have to buy a new(er) version of OSX to install the new version of iTunes. That kind of trick is typical of M$, not Apple, but oh, well.
