The Palm platform continues to go wireless, with Palm‘s i705 (which Jason O’Grady Handspring‘s Treo, which we last week noted has begun to ship. But bargain hunters who are less interested in wireless features are sure to love Handspring’s ongoing price cuts. First, Handspring cuts its sagging Visor Edge to US$299, then $249, and now last week just $199. Now, according to a Cnet story, Visor Pro will hit $229 (remember $299?), and the entry-level Neo will drop to $169. Meanwhile, followers of the Pocket PC platform should keep their ears to the ground: the Pocket PC convention arrives here in NYC at the Javits Center on Wednesday.
