ARM Holdings and Texas Instruments will collaborate on the next generation of wireless data, according to a report on News.com. The companies will produce engines to run receivers for sophisticated wireless telephony and ultimately enable smart phones and PDAs to carry more complex data. These efforts could bring rela-time audio and video to your wireless device. This new platform will eventually target other digital wireless applications, such as wireless networks in offices.
