World PC Expo 99 Opens Today

World PC Expo 99 opens today in Chiba, Japan. The trade show runs from 07 September through 11 September at the Makuhari Messe convention center.

A total of 650 companies have already reserved booth spaces at WORLD PC EXPO 99. Included in these exhibitors are about 200 overseas companies, which will exhibit in exhibition spaces such as JETRO Booth, Taiwan Pavilion, India Pavilion, etc. This year again, WORLD PC EXPO will present itself as the largest IT event in Asia. WORLD PC EXPO 99 will feature a number of hot presentations such as pavilions for IEEE1394, USB, TrDA and Home PNE, the next generation standards for the digital home appliance. In addition, the exhibition will also present speeches by key figures of Windows, Macintosh and Linux, the “Big Three” in the field of OS.
