Although the Psion Revo is not available in the US yet, you may want to keep an eye on it. The Revo has received rave reviews in Europe and is a very sophisticated device with a robust 32-bit OS.
A PalmLounge reader offers some perspective:
It behooves any Palm devotees to understand what Symbian’s EPOC Technology is all about. The 3Com spin on the Nokia/Palm alliance is sharply at odds with the real deal. My non-technicalunderstanding is that 3Com needs a 32-bit OS to satisfy the increasing needsand wants of its customers. It is, at the same time, trying to hypeinterest in its OS for the IPO. So it is walking a fine line ofsimultaneously pushing its increasingly obsolescent core technology yet inneed of augmenting it.
