Apple has apparently accidentally leaked images of both its upcoming “iPhone XS” and Apple Watch Series 4 models ahead of its just-announced media event on September 12th.

The Apple Watch Series 4 models seems to feature smaller bezels for more visible screen space, which allows for new complications arranged in a round configuration.

This also jibes with recent rumors of larger displays that have been circulating as well.

Intel’s spiffy new Whiskey Lake and Amber Lake processors for notebooks are officially available and should start surfacing in new systems this fall. The processors offer longer battery life, improved performance and built-in Gigabit WiFi support, and could be optimal for Apple’s upcoming MacBook and MacBook Air lineup.

Both processors stick with the 14nm process Intel is using for the Kaby Lake processors we’re seeing in Macs now. That means no 10nm chips from Intel for a while longer, and not in any Mac this year and maybe even next year.

Intel has stated that the new chips are twice as fast compared to a five-year-old PC, albeit the company has yet to offer comparisons to the current Kaby Lake processors.

The current word from the rumor mill is that Apple will only release two OLED iPhones come September.

The report comes from long time supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicted that the 6.1-inch iPhone would be the entry-priced model in the flagship lineup and will ship “slightly later” than the two OLED models that Kuo says will be available in September. The timing suggests a release in October, although Kuo doesn’t specify. Apple announced the iPhone 8 and iPhone X last September, but the premium model wasn’t actually released until early November.
