Microsoft, a student of the Apple School of Advertising, has been caught passing off a suspect switch promotion. On a Microsoft.com web page, a seemingly personal letter complete with a picture described how a young woman switched from the Mac to the PC (and loved it). It just seems too obvious that it was in fact a sham. The picture was a stock image, and the letter was a product of a Microsoft PR rep.
