CoredDraw Graphics Suite 2019 for the Mac released, marks return to the platform after several year intermission

If you loved CorelDRAW on the Mac, you’re going to like this.

Corel on Tuesday released CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 for the Mac. The release marks the first time the suite has been updated for the macOS in a number of years.

The suite includes applications for illustration, photo editing (Photo-Paint), font management (Font Manager), and RAW image processing (AfterShot 3 HDR). Corel’s new vector graphics tools include LiveSketch, which uses AI and machine learning to transform freeform drawing into precise lines.

Corel has stated that the suite offers “an experience that feels natively Mac” and features a streamlined UI, Dark Mode support for macOS Mojave, and Touch Bar support for the MacBook Pro. Users also have access to touch-based commands for a variety of features.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite retails as a $499 one-time purchase, or $198 per year for a continuously-upgraded edition. The suite is also available through the Mac App Store, albeit only in subscription form there.

If you get a chance to try CoredDRAW Graphics Suite 2019 for the Mac and have any feedback to offer, please let us know what you make of it in the comments.
