Rumor: iPhone 15 Pro Max could offer substantially brighter screen

If you’re hankering for an iPhone with an even brighter display, you might find it in this year’s iPhone 15.

Per a new rumor from leaker ShrimpApplePro, the iPhone 15’s display could peak at 2,500 nits of peak brightness. The current iPhone 14 Pro Max maxes out at 2,000 nits of peak brightness.

ShrimpApplePro currently has a decent, though not perfect track record of accuracy, including 6GB RAM for all iPhone 14 models. He has also reported that the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature a “beautiful” new design that uses curved edges, thinner bezels, and titanium for the casing.

The leaker’s tweet on Tuesday suggested that Apple could adopt a next-generation Samsung display that could offer the boosted peak brightness. The report, however, is pretty vague for now, with ShrimpApplePro saying this display could “potentially” appear in the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.

The lights are beginning to come on and employees are beginning to move in at the new Steve Jobs Theater over at the new Apple Park.

Drone videographer Duncan Sinfield has posted a new video on his YouTube channel today, giving viewers a fresh look at Apple Park as a small number of employees begin settling into the campus and more buildings take shape.

Now, Sinfield’s late June 2017 update provides a glimpse into Apple’s ongoing construction progress at Apple Park, including a noticeable progression in the number of trees and other pieces of greenery within the “spaceship” building’s circular courtyard. Early on in the video, viewers can also catch a shot of the main atrium of Apple Park, with its floor-to-ceiling glass doors that originally began to take shape in November 2016.
