Direct Mobile Media 40GB Personal Media PlayerDirected Electronics, the Microsoft/Borg of the 12 Volt aftermarket (we will buy and assimilate you), has branched out from their traditional mobile audio, mobile security, and mobile video products to introduce Directed Mobile Media, promising ‘Everything you love about technology, whenever you want it.’
They have just announced two portable media players with TFT screens and storage capacities of 20 and 40 GB and a 40 GB media hard drive. Both the 40 GB media player and the 40 GB hard drive can dock inside of larger ceiling mount monitors and all-in-one dvd systems.
Using Divx Technology, the portable media devices:
Play Movies – DivX, MPEG4, WMV, AVI and MOV
Record TV Shows – Directly from TV, VCR, Satellite, Cable etc.
Play Music – MP3 and WAV
View Photos – JPG, BMP, TIF and GIF
Record Memos – Built In Digital Voice Recorder
Transfer Files From A PC – Bult In SD and MMC Card Reader plus USB
AV Input and Output
FM Receiver – 20 GB Model
